The Presidency has warned the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to make the family of President Muhammadu Buhari a campaign subject in the 2019 elections. Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement on Wednesday said the PDP should rather address consequences of their 16-year of rule in Nigeria than bring the President’s family into the 2019 elections. “The PDP leadership cannot afford to make family an issue in this campaign.
